He Answered

Are you one of those that think prayer is outdated, or that God no longer answers or that prayer is just for some few set of people, or its not the norm again, or……….. Just read my story

Prayers still work wonders. I started this new job and was very timid because some of my coworkers were not wanting to work with me. Maybe I was slow, or perhaps they just want to work with their friends, or no new person is welcomed, or perhaps it’s a race issue… I am not sure what the problem was, but I was having some difficulty at work

One faithful day as I went about my daily routine one lady kept pushing back at me, she kept finding something wrong in all I was doing, then she asked me a question to support my work, and I answered. Oh my, that broke the camel’s back. She needed no answer, and answering was being rude, it was confrontational, she is my superior, (because she has worked more years than I). That was the beginning of more issues. Am sure my coworkers talked about the so-called confrontation among themselves, and I gained more enemies.

Going to work was bringing me pain, the more I tried, the more kickback I experienced. I thought of discussing the issue with my main boss, but I figured that I might gain more enemy.

I had no other choice but my heavenly father, every day as I go to work, I prayed, prayed, prayed and in no time miracles happened. The same people that fought me stood up for me. It was not any man’s working; this was God. Going to work become more pleasurable to me. But there was one more person whose sight brought fear to my heart, I prayed, and one day I had an urge to talk with her. I did, and all I said was to apologize for any wrong I may have done ( am sure I did nothing wrong to her). She initially was not listening; I gave up and was going to enjoy working whether she was there or not. However, another miracle happened, that same day, a change started, the fear is gone, I was free!!!!

What is bothering you, tell it to Jesus He will answer yet. Remember the hymn

What a friend we have in Jesus

All our sins and griefs to bear

And what a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer

Oh, what peace we often forfeit

Oh, what needless pain we bear

All because we do not carry

Everything to God in prayer

Have we trials and temptations?

Is there trouble anywhere?

We should never be discouraged

Take it to the Lord in prayer

Can we find a friend so faithful

Who will all our sorrows share?

Jesus knows our every weakness

Take it to the Lord in prayer

Songwriters: Charles Crozat Converse / Joseph Scriven

He does know our every weakness, and He wants to help you overcome Heb 4: 14 -16. When He answers, please share your testimony as praise to Him and learnings for others.

God Bless You

Lord, Save My Baby!

Nife had to live. She had survived the birth, but would she continue to live? I begged God for the life of my child. I saw a good child when I looked at my child. I saw a Moses or an Abraham; a Sarah
